Organic Starches

Future Agri & Foods supplies certified organic starches from India to gluten-free bakeries, snack makers, baby-food brands and clean-label food manufacturers around the world. The range includes arrowroot powder, tapioca starch, potato starch, corn starch and guar gum powder: natural thickeners, binders and stabilisers with no chemical modification. About our organic starches and thickeners

Future Agri and Foods produces and exports certified organic starches and thickeners from India. Our raw materials come from a network of more than 20,000 organic farmers, are Non-GMO, and are certified to India Organic (NPOP), EU Organic and USDA Organic (NOP) standards.

Clean-label thickeners

Food manufacturers are replacing modified starches and synthetic additives with simple, recognisable ingredients. Organic native starches let you thicken, bind and stabilise products while keeping a short, clean ingredient list, and most of them are naturally gluten-free.

Our range

We supply arrowroot powder (Maranta arundinacea), a fine, easily digestible starch used in baby foods, sauces and gluten-free baking; tapioca starch and cassava powder, both from the cassava root (Manihot esculenta): tapioca starch gives chewy texture and gloss to bakery products, snacks and desserts, and cassava powder is used in gluten-free baking and food blends; potato starch, a strong thickener for soups, sauces and gluten-free bread; corn starch, the everyday thickener for food processing; and guar gum powder (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba), a highly effective stabiliser for dairy alternatives, ice cream, sauces and dressings.

Quality and supply

Every batch is checked at the farm gate, on arrival at our facility, during processing and before dispatch, and is traceable to the farmer group that grew it. Starches are supplied as fine powders in bulk packing.
